Scientist – Scientific Computing / Bioinformatics [Job Code: BRCPC0166]

Main Tasks

This position requires a highly motivated interactive and creative scientist to carry out scientific computing tasks including protein structure modeling, prediction, molecule design as well as database establishment, maintenance and management.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in physics, bioinformatics, structural biology or related discipline with >2 yrs of post-doc training.
Hand-on experience with protein structure modeling software as MODELLER and DOCK.
Familiarity and experience with Discovery Studio software suite is preferred
Knowledge in a broad range of contemporary statistical methods for classification and prediction.
Demonstrated computation skills, e.g. programming and data mining.
Ability and desire to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, innovative, and interdependent research environment.
Industrial experience is a plus.
